Dear Friends,I am delighted that our shared passion for endoscopy brings us together. It has become our calling, allowing us to grow and refine our skills using the most advanced technologies and instruments.
Endoscopy represents the future of medicine! These words are reaffirmed at our conference every year.
The 2025 conference "Current Issues in Endoscopy" will be especially meaningful for all of us. We have prepared many new opportunities for networking and experience sharing.
On March 26, we invite you to EndoBRICS. This event was conceived during the COVID-19 pandemic, enabling us to maintain communication with our colleagues from different countries in an online format. Today, EndoBRICS has become a unique platform for exchanging expertise and fostering new professional friendships among endoscopists from BRICS countries. We are proud to say that Russian endoscopists have much to showcase and share with their colleagues, while at the same time, we greatly value the insights and experience of our international peers.
On March 26, as part of the conference, we will also hold the final round of the 2nd All-Russian Student Endoscopy Olympiad. Applications from universities are already open.
On March 27−28, Live Demonstrations will take place in a new format. You will not only be able to observe surgeries from start to finish in real time, but also simultaneously discuss disease-related issues, potential complications, and their solutions with colleagues both in the operating room and the conference hall. This year, our Live Demonstration sessions will focus on:
- Stricture management
- Pancreatobiliary endoscopy & gallstone disease
- Full-thickness resections
- Bariatric endoscopic procedures
On March 27, we will witness fascinating clinical cases during the 14th Russian Endoscopy Championship. We encourage early submissions, as we can accommodate no more than 15 cases for participation. A distinguished panel of judges, as well as all conference attendees, will evaluate the competition.
We are pleased to announce the return of the Poster Session, which will be dedicated to the memory of Professor Alexey S. Balalykin. Alexey Stepanovich was a great scientist, a talented physician, and a close friend of our conference. He once supported our initiative and led the Poster Session competition committee. Endoscopists and endoscopy nurses are welcome to submit their poster presentations. There are no restrictions on topics, age, or academic degree.
We honor traditions and continue the most popular sections of the conference, including:
- The Bronchoscopy Section
- The Session for Endoscopy Nurses
- EndoPractikum, which will feature numerous masterclasses and training sessions, the Endoscopy Academy, and satellite symposia from leading manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, instruments, and pharmaceuticals.
On March 29, the fourth day of the conference will be dedicated to emergency endoscopy—a topic of utmost importance to every endoscopist. We hope that the knowledge gained from lectures by leading experts will help you stay composed in critical situations and make the right treatment decisions. Afterward, you can unwind and enjoy an informal discussion with colleagues—not online, but in person! EndoCHAT: "Endoscopic Mysteries: Secrets and Discoveries" will feature an interactive session analyzing unusual endoscopic cases, followed by a Q&A discussion.
An exciting and productive conference lies ahead! We invite you to actively participate in shaping the program by submitting your abstracts, clinical cases, and engaging presentations.
See you soon in St. Petersburg!
